Softball MVP Cup

Formerly known as the Memorial Vittorio Pino — is an international youth softball tournament held every year in Legnano, Italy, in honor of Vittorio Pino, a historic figure who dedicated his life to developing the sport and supporting young female athletes.

Launched in 2018, the tournament has grown into one of the most meaningful youth softball events in the region. Each edition brings together invited teams from Italy and abroad — club teams, representative teams, and national youth squads — all coming to pay tribute to Vittorio and to experience high-level competition in a unique, family-style atmosphere.

More than just a tournament, the Softball MVP Cup is a celebration of culture, friendship, and the values of the sport. Teams eat together, have fun together, dance, sing, and build international connections that last long after the final game. The event is supported by Dream Team Sports Tours, Legnano Softball, the Italian Baseball and Softball Federation (FIBS), and the Lombardy Regional Committee, with federal umpires and the participation of the Italian U18 national team in several editions.

Since its first edition — except for the 2020 COVID interruption — the tournament has welcomed strong teams from the United States, Europe, and Italy, including a Dream Team squad every year. What began as a tribute has now become a solid tradition that continues to grow, carrying forward Vittorio’s dream of promoting a sport rich in passion, community, and values.
